An Ode to Blood Brothers

let this be a reminder to you

let it be my beggar's plead

these tall brick walls will never fall

let us fill these empty glasses

with some courage juice

are we not what we've all wanted

is this not what we've intended

a broken bottle, the shattered glass

that ripped right through us

a brother pact, this blood will last

all you know the truth

the thing i've longed for, the things i’ve wanted

all you know the truth

and though her eyes say she is angry

she just wants our love

so let us sing, and cheer to this

a brother's love, a fellow bliss

let us do our thing

as years they die

we'll stand by our words

and never fade, and never falter

we're young together, we're drunk together

we'll stick together, through rugged weather

we’ll be old  together, still drunk together

we’ll stick together, through rugged weather

and never fade, and never falter
