****** off metaphoric empowerment
Drained from mental imbalances
Constructed from symbolic injustices
Surviving political malpractices
Jaded mind and a jellyfish spine
Land minds and a dozen dimes
Days roll on this glass rock
All I hear is the tick and tock
Thirty three is all I read
Number seven is all I need
Fragmented thoughts and acquired taste
Requires thought of fragmented hate
Twisted tongue over a gun
It's old and useless, but cool and vintage

It all started out just running around
On a playground, playing endless games,
Throwing ***** at walls for hours
Just to see who could catch it...first
That all was so normal
Eventually we all grew up,
At least that’s what thought
Smoking cigarettes and drinking up
Just to see who could get ****** up... first
That all was so normal
One day not too far from now we’ll eventually be
All grown up and with our own family
Looking for a job with some degree we got
Just to see who could be successful...first
And that’s going to normal

Take quiet seconds alone to ponder and to breathe
Yet this silence has become nothing more then my enemy
I’ve become the target
Always unable to win, always under the pointiest pin
Always the dimmest of lights, always the darkest of nights
I’ve lost
But in the end, I’ll have the only laugh
Cheers to a defense mechanism perfected
And to a mind frame demented
Yet aren’t we all born insane?
Lost and afraid, unable to communicate
Only able to scream like a madman lost
I’ve lost
Don’t we all grow from experience which is suppose to give us that sanity
Now more knowing yet more afraid, unable to communicate
Only able to scream like a madman lost
I’ve lost
Have I missed the boat?
You all got shipped off with some sort of sanity
To enjoy large campuses of pure vanity
While I’m left chasing whatever sanity may be here
In this town that proves to be trapped with only fear
And he and I can bet, that he and I have never met
Yet from his absence, I hold one thing those sailors will never
The beauty of change
Because to accept change
You must create it yourself
You must master it
You must tame it
You must simply change
Consistently constructive but constantly carefu

let this be a reminder to you
let it be my beggar's plead
these tall brick walls will never fall
let us fill these empty glasses
with some courage juice
are we not what we've all wanted
is this not what we've intended
a broken bottle, the shattered glass
that ripped right through us
a brother pact, this blood will last
all you know the truth
the thing i've longed for, the things i’ve wanted
all you know the truth
and though her eyes say she is angry
she just wants our love
so let us sing, and cheer to this
a brother's love, a fellow bliss
let us do our thing
as years they die
we'll stand by our words
and never fade, and never falter
we're young together, we're drunk together
we'll stick together, through rugged weather
we’ll be old  together, still drunk together
we’ll stick together, through rugged weather
and never fade, and never falter

Here is a thought for the one's left over,
Not everyone would understand.
The ones our teachers had counted out,
The ones you see and you’re parents warned you about,
"Don't be like that guy" they say.
The unsatisfying, the un-welcomed, and the unknown had caught us all by surprise.
So face it, we are not satisfied by where we are because we rather be at a real "place".
Just face it, we do not want to meet these people because we would rather meet people with more intellect.
Now face it, we do not know where we are going.
We would rather have our "four years" planned out.
In torture, we all ask each other, "where are you going next?"
In stupidity, we all respond the same way, "um...probably .. um.”
Oh the mumble of the one's who have been hung out to dry, or die
All of us men and women if you can even call us that, all think of that one,
The one they love and the one that had left,
Which leaves us in despair.
So call it what you will but this "place"
This god forsaken place is, simply enough, not the same
You’ll catch us as we all kid and joke saying we're happy here
"Here's to our new crew"
Oh the awkward fear that gives me chills day and night
And it is because we wanted this, right...?
So say hello to the unsatisfying
Have a few shots with the un-welcomed
And share that cigarette with the unknown
