Sing me a song,
of your life, and mine
sing the song of joys and pains,
sing me a tune
about right and wrong.

Sing me the song
of places we've been to
the places we have not
yet seen,
sing me the melody,
of places we've not yet been!

Sing me the song
of the troubles you've had,
the slow melancholy music,
of what's made you so sad,
sing me hymn of tears,
that you've cried each night
when you tear yourself from the inside
and how you give in without a fight.
Sing me that ode.

Sing to me the songs,
of your victories!
Sing me the triumphant blare,
of your histories!
The songs of your life
where you stood tall
head up high!
The songs of your life
where you felt you could
fly!

Sing me a song
of friend of mine
sing me a song
let me hear every
line.

Sing me a song.
