Once upon a time,
In the tallest tower,
Protected by dragons,
Waiting for the hour.
Hidden by high walls,
Bristles and thorn rose.
Dark and distant places
Filled with woes.
Poison kisses,
Kidnapped by a beast,
Stolen voices,
And forced deadly sleep.
A princess has many walls,
Some only of the mind.
A prince needs to scale them all,
To get a girl, one of a kind.
To deserve her at her best
Is to handle her at her worse.
Climb the walls,
And break the curse.
Fight dragons with swords
And woes with laughter,
To find the untouchable princess,
And live happily ever after.
