The lonely tree
In the far off field is a
Flower tree--
The flowers are white
And pregnant with
Possibility
Like cold and clean
Sterile snowballs
Washed by the rain
This morning that fell
Gently from the
Milky clouds and woke me
From my slumber
Because they so rudely
Hid the sun from me
