I stare at camera and say my final signoff,
"it's been wonderful America, and we'll chat tomorrow night"
30 years and a lot of fight,
I got to this point,
but I question why did I really want to read the news,
to show people different views?
but I'm not the one writing the script,
I guess I was always a pretty face,
and a deep voice,
why didn't I make the choice?
where I could show what really matters,
it's my final sign off,
and my integrity and local stardom may fade,
but it is ok,
with all the money I have made.
