Introspective
Is my perspective
Alone
Upon my throne
I look
To myself
Not wealth
Overgrown

Naturally
I'm flattered
As I sink
To my evergreen
Knees
Weak
As you speak
Branches
Blowing
In the breeze

On the verge
Of slow motion
Your flow
Ever rolling
In the depths
Of my emotion

Converging
With the urge
Of my rising
Ocean tide
Riding high
In the eye
Of our storm

Once
Forelorned
Abandoned
And alone
In the *****
Of the ocean
I once claimed
My home

I felt your sweet embrace
And the cold of the depths
Was replaced
By your spirit
You called out my name
Before you thought
I could hear it

A mocking jay
Whispered in my ear
As I sat
In calm waters
Clear
Amidst a hurricane
He sang me your name
Softly
As your current
Drew nearer
In this eye
We have nothing
To fear

Take your place
At my side
We are the all seeing eye
Rules of our art
No fools gold hearts
We reign
Along raging rivers
Where fate once came
Changing our current
Your flow spoke my name
And mother nature
Heard it
Currents Past
