          stick to the speed limit
          make sure your belt is on.
I say I love you when I tell you to be careful on nights out
         watch how much you're drinking
          tell me when you're home safe.
I say I love you when I tell you that you had better study
          your future is just as important as ours.
I say I love you when you've fallen asleep early
           leaving you messages to read when you're awake
            hopefully a smile will start off your day.
I say I love you when I tell you that you just do not realise just how lucky I am to even know you.

I wish I had more time to show you I love you
because I'm still not very good at saying *I love you
