Reaching out for me
I can clearly see
It's useless, I know
I want to try, though
To see the bright sun
And have a thing called "fun"
Maybe watch the moon
In late summer June
But that's not where I belong
As I hear my friends sorrowful song
I accept my inescapable fate
Though they shout "Wait!"
A tear flies off my chin
So happy, I have been
Even though my times passed
I can never rid the hideous shades of my past.
