When she opens her eyes
she doesn't just see the night skies
she sees her mom looking down on her

you know her life wasn't that great
she didn't have everything on a golden plate but
at least she had that

her mom didn't call her fat
or yell at her for this and that
and even though her mom is far away
she knows she looks down on her everyday

So when she opens her eyes
she doesn't just see the night skies
she sees her mom looking down on her
she is looking right into her mothers eye
