Apr 2014
from a very young age the days at beach have held special place in my heart
the hours of digging into sand and splashing in the waves
there was nothing you could do to cheer me up more
then say I could run and kick up the sand
that was when the waves were calm
that was before the storm churned
and everyone had to find shelter
or suffer the consequences
the cold storm uncaring of who or what it rains on only wanting to make others feel its pain
and it did for years my beach was under siege from the storm

and it still is, I just pray that
one day it will go away
