Darker than the sky,
As the sun's blacked out,
By swirling clouds,
Swimming above the trees.

They hold a world,
Full of mystery,
Hope and regret,
That only their owner has seen.

From all the emotion,
That's hidden deep within,
It's the only part of the person that can be picked apart,
From behind their concrete walls.

No matter how strong their outsides may seem,
Their eyes are like mirrors,
Showing reflections of who they really are,
Waiting for someone to break them down.

It's a challenge.

Because nobody really knows,
What a person truly feels,
Until they truly,
Look into someone's eyes.
