The tides roll ever so softly over my burning heart,
They soothe the ache and cool me before I fall apart,
The waves crash over my head and hold me to the depths,
The things I've seen have scarred me, they'll lead me to my death,

Fire rages and water burns,
Smoke-filled seas cease to churn,
The black spreads wide and life will rise to the surface with tender cries,

Winds strike fierce and lay to waste Man's mistakes and evil ways,
You must overcome your chains and melt away your pain,

Fire rages and water burns,
Smoke-filled seas cease to churn,
Black spreads wide and life will rise to the surface with tender cries,
Below the oceans, beneath the tides,
Underneath the gowns of precious brides,
The shadows fall away, the sun shines down so bright,
The fire under the water brings us the warmth of light.
