our minds were like broken glass,
scattered about on the floor in small, piercing, pieces.

each day the fragments get mangled a bit more,
by the metaphorical foot of society, and it's indecencies.

although, his mind was like sea-glass,
fractured, abandoned, murky, but still undeniably beautiful.
i think i really love you
