Here, stands a lonely river
Never been touched by the harshness of man
Slowly and quietly meandering
Through and through the peaceful valley
The birds are singing melodies of beauty
The tulips are blooming
The dew upon the leaves glisten
Through the deep forest comes a loud
Rumbling
Fierce force
The sound of man approaches
Their metal machine pierce the earth and plow the land
Man has scolded this land
But now, as the earth stands still
And man is gone
Here, stands a lonely river
