Dear stairs

I've never really noticed you
But you have been a good friend
I just step all over you
Yet, you always help me up
You help me to a higher level
Your hand rail has always made me feel safe
And your carpet coat makes me feel at home
In reality, you are a great friend
You never complain
You never yell
And all anyone ever does
Is step all over you

Dear doughnut,

What is wrong with you
Are you trying to ruin me too?
I run all day
And yet you stay
Watching...
Watching me...
Just wanting me to eat you
Your glazed figure
Your fruity
Delectable
Filling...

If I eat you, can't you see
I'll loose to Techumpseh
And here come the classic cliché
I guess I'm here to hate you
But yet, I love you
There's no one else I'd rather have
Yet
I know
If I do eat you
You'll just stab me in the back
But
It's worth it

Loneliness is a dark room
Waiting for light to be shed
Loneliness is the last of us
Reaching for companionship
Loneliness is the worst torture
With no contact what so ever
Loneliness is a prison cell
With no daylight to shine on your face
Loneliness...
Can never be forgotten
Though, loneliness...
Can be ridden of the mind
Loneliness is weak
Loneliness is pathetic
Loneliness is but a dark room that can be bright with but a simple light
Loneliness is but a man that can be brought from the depths of despair with just a companion
Loneliness is but a prison cell that can be made hopeful with a simple
Crack in the wall
A crack
To the outside world
A crack to experience sunlight
A crack to the fresh outside air of the vast open world
Loneliness...
Is nothing but a dark room

Here, stands a lonely river
Never been touched by the harshness of man
Slowly and quietly meandering
Through and through the peaceful valley
The birds are singing melodies of beauty
The tulips are blooming
The dew upon the leaves glisten
Through the deep forest comes a loud
Rumbling
Fierce force
The sound of man approaches
Their metal machine pierce the earth and plow the land
Man has scolded this land
But now, as the earth stands still
And man is gone
Here, stands a lonely river

Lively as can be
The surging air tugs on me
Like a needy friend

The lifeless clouds
Taken where the wind takes them
Free, just as a man
