Silence –
The loudest sound at night
When cars go by
And babies cry,
Silence screams at me

And your five o’clock shadow against my face
It makes me feel like I’m in the safest place
Your breath against my neck
So calm, I have to check
for you…

Whispers –
The loudest voice anyone speaks
When you reach those peaks
And someone is yours to keep
Whispers whisk on by

And my dreams are only of you
I could only hope you dream of me, too
So hold on tight
I might be here all night
with you…

Love –
The loudest feeling out there
When war is in the air
And death hangs near
I still love you…
