You watched me grow up
Ever since I was a young buck

Taught me how to shoot a gun
and get into a fight and not run

Taught me if I hit the ground
To never stay down

Took care of me since I was young
Proud to call me his grandson

as he gets older
He is going to need a shoulder

To use a cane
to ease his pain

As he gets to his older years
he starts to downshift gears

when he puts it in park
It is going to be dark

Then he will turn on his headlights
and he will have heaven in his sights

when he is gone
ill drink to dawn

He will watch us from above
When we need it, He will give us a shove

Then when I lay down at night
I know everything will be alright.
Not done yet, Cant really think of a ending.
