Soft and easy like a melody
Though the cold comes off the window

Adding to the melody
In the silence of the of the moon light
Is a quiet snowfall for all to see

Outside my window the snow rests on the ground
Like a new warm blanket
Wrapping itself around the landscape
Bringing comfort for all to see

What's missing outside my window
Is a couple walking hand and hand
And their love that warms in the snowfall
