why isn't it ever
10 in the morning
after you got in a fight
with your boss
and you feel like

is smoother than your throat

                                             your head feels weak
                                      and all your friends are gone

why isn't it ever
9 at night
when you have the worst
breakup of your life
and you feel like you can't go on


              but no,
           it's always
    3 in the morning
   because that's when
     you truly realize
