Bandage
I have nursed open wounds
Of people who carelessly
Ripped themselves open
To give away their hearts
Like a bandage
I soaked up all the blood
And only tasted their lonely
As I continued to provide care
But after a while
There is no need for me
Cuts will heal on their own
I know they always do

Always give love away freely,
"Practice love, until you remember that you are love."
