Why do the wrong things
Always feel so right?
Why do our temptations
Always win the fight?
The child always reaches
For the kettle when it's hot
One day the burns and scars
will show her she should not
So foolish I was to think
That lust was not my sickness
Because an unguarded strength
Is really a double weakness.
