I should melt every time I hear your laugh.
I should crave the gentle touch of your strong fingers.
I should swoon over your hazel eyes, your soft smile.
I should have held your hand, walking through the flowers.
I should have let you kiss me on my doorstep.
Because maybe you could be good for me.
Maybe I could learn to love you, if I tried hard enough.
Maybe I should try hard enough.
I've been looking for a simple solution
and I've finally found you,
so why don't I want you?
