I promise
that I will never leave you,
it'll be you before it's me,
I will never leave you
unless my spirit parts, just like the sea
and can't you see, that I'm wrong
and that you can easily do better
but if you left, I'd be cold
leaving me alone, without a sweater
you're my warmth, you make me happy
and I just hope I can to
trust me when I say I'm trying
and when I say that I love you
so can you stay, you're better than my prescription
just give me that daily dose, because surely you're my new addiction
and let me get my fix, as those words escape your lips
"do you really love me?" you say, and I say
I promise
