I Manifest destiny from grains of dirt, a stroll in the park.
I make malleable metal into massive mechanisms, the magic of the mind.
Maybe i'm over thinking, the dark brings madness of a different kind.

You find gluttony a desirable trait, something you love.
You develop tactics to keep practice, deceits a heavy fellow.
Maybe i'm over thinking, but above the bar lies a melody so mellow.

We remember you and i, a mystical like enchantment.
We recall Monday and Friday, a monotonous like routine.
Maybe i'm just lonely, but this parchment can't continue to repel the tears filled with saline.
