Raps
I heard your rap on the door,
I screamed I was coming -
I think you misunderstood me,
There was no one there.
I heard your rap over the air,
I screamed and cried along -
I think I misunderstood you,
Went searching, found squat.
I read your rap recently,
I screamed when I knew -
I understood where you were at,
Did some thinking of my own.
I re-read your rap recently,
I screamed at the absurdity -->
You didn't think and follow through.
It's been 4 years now - over-knight success?!?
