I am an Angel that wants to go home
to Heaven.
But God is not letting me in.
My light has stopped shining, my glow has gone. I’ve damaged my skin.

Gabriel doesn’t approve.

I am an Angel waiting at heaven’s gates
I want to come home early from my mission. I’ve been engulfed in a consumption of darkness and sin.
I want to go home.
- I know this is a bit morbid for a first poem but I promise they won't all revolve around stuff like this.
