Last night I poured every ounce of my heart In along with the ink of my tears Exposing all of my delicate vulnerable parts While shaking inside with fear
I spread stark white linen pages warm with a flow Revealing secret parts of my soul Safely hidden away in caverns burning aglow Longing only, to become whole
Trembling hands, penned with the ink of my soul Shedding light, on the sweetest truth Of the feelings burning deep inside like fiery coals Which I hold in my heart for you
Today, I watched the crystal ink of my tears Drying on the words, I wrote Still shaking inside, while waiting to hear Your reply, to my soul’s note
As I see the sun sinking low there to the West Another night, bringing day to an end I wonder here to myself, if the ink of my soul will rest Or possess the crystal ink, of my tears' pen
