To this day just gone
I say goodnight and be gone
As I rest me down to sleep
For the Lord my soul to keep

I awake to the purpose
Of The Director
Who returned me my strength
And on my way I went

I thanked Him for the gifts
Bestowed in abundance
Sight amongst senses
And others I make mention

I plead mercy for my ignorance
To change these ways I promise
Love and acceptance
Of all His creation

Judgement is His right alone
To Him belongs all praise
For all I have is on loan
May He always light my way
