Paradise
Cold,
my bones rattle and ache.
Is there some other place?
If so,
will you take me there?
I can't fight this anymore,
metaphysically lost,
in a cyclone of dying thoughts and blank realizations.
I need more,
but I don't want it.
I want to be left alone,
I want to be saved.
I know there is a paradise out there,
but where?
Is it here?
Or is it there?
Is it real?
Or is it fair to say it doesn't exist?
I want to be removed,
there is no place for me here.
There is no place for my soul,
dead or alive,
shattered or whole.
Take me with you,
beyond the limits,
where we'll explode into oblivion,
and find the paradise,
the paradise we both so desperately want.
