From past mistakes I've realized,
When two lives are not meant to be intertwined.

You'll forget the color of their eyes,
Irises from whom you unknowingly hide.

Flinch, not melt, under their touch,
Even if you though you loved them that much.

Tell yourself "you don't have time,"
You're avoiding them, it's just a lie.
