she awakens every morning to repeat the same routine

she brushes away the webs of beauteous constellations covering her body to pull on her skin, protective sheet from the world around

she takes the moons and suns from sockets in her skull and in their place go the eyes, condemning herself to only seeing what is in front of her

she spits out every creative word streaking across the air, in a flash of light, to put in the teeth that allow her to repeat after you

she must remove the black hole of thoughts from within her head and replace them with facts, equations

she awakens every morning to repeat the same routine

changing from galaxy to girl
