In death, lives will be bound

By forces beyond mortal control

Days and nights will stop

The clock and calendar shall reverse

Faded memories shall return

Distances and differences

Melt away into the love that remains

As it engulfs all that it touches

Unlike a forest fire, it births life

And gives purpose to the wanderer

It strengthens his faith

In the lives he touches

To look beyond these faces

And find wandering souls

Just like his own
A friend should never have to die.
