Haiku (dawns tyranny)
No destinations—
Weird sycophant's pantheon,
Gertrude Stein's Oakland.
Ever since Gertrude Stein wrote of Oakland, "there is no there there," people have used this quote to condemn the city, things of questionable worth and the 'art' of dabblers.
