This image is a glimpse of what I'd like to taste
the time that I spend not searching seems a waste
the lines shape out an everlasting truth
that we once discovered when innocent and full of youth

I can't see cuz a blanket is over me
of stars and scars and bars that hold me down
take it off I swear I'm willing to tear it to the ground
because of all the cost of curiosity

spellbinder find me one with such words
that could bring me the strength that I would deserve
if I found incentive to carry on the curse
of life and death for better or worse

I can't see cuz a blanket is over me
of stars and scars and bars that hold me down
take it off I swear I'm willing to tear it to the ground
because of all the cost of curiosity

dance beyond the dark of a new found light
sway the rhythm of balance to a height
of spirited movements and cosmical ways
the silhouette of cherished moments shaded by normal days

I can't see cuz a blanket is over me
of stars and scars and bars that hold me down
take it off I swear I'm willing to tear it to the ground
because of all the cost of curiosity
