I stayed up all night long trying to find the truth,
Only to find that I hadn't a clue.
That he's an angel who stole the Devil's wings,
And at night tries to grab you when you sleep.

I tried so hard to bite my tongue,
It seemed like i was the only one,
Who could reveal his hidden past,
And he's counting on the fear to last.

He doesn't know that I'm strong,
And I refuse to let him bring me down.
He thinks I'm blind but I can see,
What he's trying to do to me.

Now what am I supposed to do?
As I try to break through,
All those barriers I've put up in my mind,
That I've always tried to hide behind.

Tear it down, tear it down,
Tear it down, brick my brick.
Tear it down, tear it down,
Until they're all one inch thick.
So I can breathe in my soul,
And know I'm not alone.
