I know I might be forgiven
But I don't know how
I don't trust much what anyone says
Just seems to be another lie I used once before

A little late to fix another drink
So I'll sit here and watch the sun come up
Listening to the dark sing me to sleep
Waiting for dreams to take me somewhere else

I sold it all to pay the man
I have no coin to pay Charon
I'll wander the shores for years to come
It's a life I've welcomed and a life I've won
