Silver rays of light illuminating
Thick, heavy smoke.
Everything is still,
Resting on a lingering reluctant
Inhalation, caught suspended
Between an ever alluring exhale.
Release-
And there is nothing left inside
But stillness, and silver.
Subtle waves of soft shaking sorrow
Slowly cover the world in a
Blanket of remorse,
Yet loss and lament lean far from fully felt.
Silver light, and still white
Smoke in the air...
Feel my consciousness split
From emotion,
Feel my mind fade into silver,
feel this, feel-
Nothing.
