Blowing Their Whistles
She carried them with her
throughout the day,
tumbling & rolling,
building her desire,
waiting for the whistle to blow.
She hurried home,
as did he
in great haste,
they did not want
to waste a single minute
of their pleasures.
And when he pulled
them out
one by one,
hers did sound,
delicious & glistening,
wonderfully in tune
with his own melody.
