Our friendship was perfect,
For all those beautiful years.
I was so very happy,
Never had any tears.

Then suddenly last year,
Without even telling me,
You made major changes,
I was totally lost you see.

You couldn't see me as much.
I was just told and not asked,
You said that you loved me,
You hid behind your mask.

I was devastated,
You really hurt me.

I am generally fine now,
But miss what we had.
It was so very special,
Losing that makes me sad.

We still are best friends,
I know that we will always be.
