******** By My Repose

******** by my repose

confined in these here clothes

why I’m here who honestly knows

perhaps to keep you on your toes

most likely to keep me on mine

involuntary impulses through my spine

to jolt my idle body back into line

a puppet posed to play fine

I will sever these said stings

so I may move on to grander things

move where love rarely stings

and the sky and moon often sings
