One More Day Without You
Sunshine
bounces off
cars passing by
Birds
sing from
the tree outside
Children
laugh
and play in the street
Clouds
roll in
Thunder
roars above
Rain
pours
then dissipates
The sun
peeks out
The sky
is patched with
gray and blue
But
all I see
is one more day
without you
From my book, "Love and Lies," available for Nook and on iTunes.
