Gone
My skin is worn
My eyes lack luster
My heartbeat is soft
And dragging on slowly
My breath is ragged
And softer than a whisper
My lips are chapped
My cheeks are hollow
I’m numb
Suffocating
The life has gone from my body
I’m alive but I’m not living
