Aching – attrited
chilled billows loft my lung
clingy house cat
punching
the damage in morse code
into my abdomen
muscle - vein
spasm reverberate
comforts
deep-chested camping socks
sweet potatoes
desiccated apricot and pecan cascades
*WRITTEN during finals week as I was recovering from a hospital visit over gastrointestional issues
