I’ll never find the one
to make vegan pancakes in the morning
I’ll never find the one
to splurge on candies without any warning

I’ll never find the one
who knows the way green tastes like spring
I’ll never find the one
who knows ska and who knows swing

I’ll never find the one
a mouth like sailor, a voice like a siren
I’ll never find the one
with those eyes made to inspire men

I’ll never find the one
Of this one fact I can be certain
I’ll never find the one
That is that, end of story, drop the curtain
