Jan 2014
I swiffer the fake wood floors
using the handle as a microphone
tearing up the stage in my own home
for the first time in a few years
I don't feel that I've grown one bit
I spit out every lyric
like I'm sixteen and stupid
buying her those tulips
then the song ends
and I'm
almost twenty-one
again
