I had a dream
that coerced and caressed me
a dream
That pursued and possessed me

you sat in a field of daisies
in a soft silken sundress
it floated with your turns
with your same finesse

The wind danced you about
sending your hair into a cavalcade
it whipped at the supple sky
then fell again in a cascade

I greeted you with a kiss
on the nape of your neck
And hug around your waist
you faced me for another peck

I awoke still smiling
hating myself for waking
when such a beautiful dream
was still in its making

I had a dream
that coerced and caressed me
a dream
That pursued and possessed me
