Jan 2014
I like when you’re all cuddled up with me,
I watch your chest rise and fall so gracefully.

I trace the lines on your stomach,
The crevices that make up your tense back,
As we nuzzle up,
For a well-deserved nap.

Your heartbeat slows,
As your breath quickens.
I still myself,
So I can simply listen.

No happier will I ever be,
Than you lying here next to me.
