the image layered on the minds eye
a shifting of shadows held in still life
a fragment of world seen
through the reflections of the photographers mind
through the images living story
it breaths it emotions into your heart
without a word or sound
tells you the tale of child and the dog
they protect eachother
the house its empty halls waiting to be filled
with noise and family
the yards threadbare carpet of grass
clinging to a wildness that it longs for
this photograph
speaks
listen with your heart
