I rumbled down the highway,
usually after the fear of
intimacy would hit me,
it was time to move on.

It seems so strange
how something so feared
is what we crave the most.
How could we ever **** loneliness
when her ally always wins?
That is the eternal question
pondered throughout the ages
by the sages & lovers alike,
seems many have notΒ Β found,
the solution, any answers yet.

Maybe it's slaughtering that pesky,
that sneaky ego who always
seems to crush our common sense,
another friend who seems so rare,
one not rarer than true love.
